Asian Alliance Insurance holds successful 'Top Ten Congress 2009'

The 'Top Ten Congress 2009' of Asian Alliance Insurance PLC was held with the participation of over 200 sales advisors from all regions recently at MAS Auditorium, Thulhiriya.

This is an annual event of Asian Alliance held every December, where the Life Division shares its plans and strategies for the upcoming year.

The event was held under the theme of 'Celebrations 2009'. Director/CEO of Asian Alliance Ramal G. Jasinghe graced the occasion as the Chief Guest whilst the Executive Committee together with the Senior Management of AAI participated to witness the occasion.

Kapila Suriyaarachchi, Zonal Manager - Panadura commenced this glamorous event of rewarding the achievements of true professionals with his welcome note. Leelaratne Piyasena, Deputy General Manager - Training and Knowledge Management, educated the sales force on the importance of personal organisation in order to be successful in today's competitive business environment.

He further stressed that time management, record keeping, ethical work habits and prospecting were few of the key aspects in becoming a top performer. The sales force greatly appreciated Piyasena's contribution to enhance their skills and knowledge, which added value to the professionals who were present.

Chula Hettiarachchi, General Manager - Sales and Marketing voiced the challenges the company faced during the year and paid his tribute to the Life Sales Force of AAI for their tremendous contribution towards the company. He also shared the future plans which will forge the company towards achieving its objectives in 2010.

Jasinghe focused his speech on future strategies, goals and the challenges that the company would encounter in the year ahead. He also praised the Life Sales Team for their achievements amidst a fiercely competitive environment.

G. M. Lahiru Maduranga (Kottawa), M. A. T. D. Jeewantha (Panadura), C. Upul Jayasekara (Kottawa), R. P. G. D. A. Ranawella (Kurunegala), F. B. G. L. Thushara (Kottawa), Malin  Yapa Amarasekara (Kottawa), K. K. C. Sampath  Kumara (Kottawa), N. D. Ruwan Kumara (Negombo), Saliya Bandara (Kegalle) and S. P. Godabeddage (Gampaha) marked their positions among the 'Top Ten Sales Advisors' of AAI in 2009.

Best Field Manager Awards for 2009 were claimed by P. D. Mangala Rajapakse (Panadura), Kamal Gunasinghe (Kurunegala) and V. M. N. J. K. A. Bandara (Kurunegala).
