Retro music is as alive this very minute as it was back in the day and thanks to Lite FM’s Flashback Show, lovers of the ‘old school’ found a dance floor to groove to whatever retro beats rocked their era.

Whether your time was of bell-bottoms and afros, rockers with black leather and nail polish or graffiti and walkmans, Lite FM’s annual Flashback Show brought it all back in one night of pure, old school tunes that even got wall huggers tapping their toes.

This year, the event, which coincides with the station’s anniversary, got together Colombo’s top retro DJ’s, Wendell, Bunty, Naushad and Marlon to spin and mix funky grooves from the 70’s right through to the 90’s.

From the Bee Gees to Bon Jovi, Mike and the Mechanics to MC Hammer, the world of retro was brought back in a party that raised the roof higher than any 80’s shoulder pad, and no one does it better than Lite FM.

Sponsors were Coca Cola, Open Happiness, radio partner for the event was 101.7 TNL Rocks and print media partners The Sunday Times and Daily Mirror.
