Come July and the entire Bollywood will descend on the neighbouring island country Sri Lanka; with the onset of 11th International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards. This year the event is reported to be held at the Sugathadasa Indoor Stadium, Colombo from July 2 to July 4.

According to reports, Sri Lanka became the hot pick after competing with countries like South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, Australia and South Korea. Said Achala Jaagoda, Minister of Tourism, “This is a very rare and wonderful opportunity for Sri Lanka. Thanks to the prevailing peace, Sri Lanka has received international recognition.”

During the course of the 3-day event, a 20Twenty match between Bollywood stars and Asian cricketers will be organised.
