Face_BookFacebook users are being targeted in a scam that offers them a chance to install a "dislike" button.

The scam tricks users into allowing a rogue application to access their profile page, which then posts spam messages.

SatNavSri Lanka's Sala GIS (Geo Information System) has developed the country's first GPS (Global Positioning System) map, where a space-based network of radio navigation system satellites can assist motorist find directions and plot routes.
Sala ProSat is the first company to offer GPS navigation that works in Sri Lankan as local maps and landscapes had been already programmed to the system.

Solar Impulse plane starts 24-hour test flight PDF Print E-mail

solarAn experimental aircraft that draws its power from the sun is making a round-the-clock test flight.

The aim is to assess whether the plane can fly in darkness, using solar cells on its wings to generate enough power to stay in the air for 24 hours.

The HB-SIA plane, which took off from Switzerland, has the weight of a family car but the wingspan of a big airliner.

Until recently, the firm automatically redirected Chinese users to its unfiltered search site in Hong Kong to get round censorship issues.
